Crazy weekend in München (and a quick stop in Garmisch Paternkirchen)

This weekend I decided to go to München to see Candyse one last time before she goes back to the States forever. I also got to see Hector who joined us. It was a great weekend, filled with sunshine, shopping, great food, great friends and beer. It felt so great to be back in Deutschland, and I haven't forgotten as much of my german as I thought. It was hard to leave again, and I almost missed my flight tuesday morning. But now I'm safe back home in Sweden.

Me and Candyse, fab as always!
Me and Hector, neighbours together again!

Worth thinking of...

"As you sit down to consider ways to be more remarkable, the challenge is to be worth talking about... at the same time you are adding value for the person who's talking about you."

I like that! Thanks Seth Godin, teller of the truth!

Things do happen even if I don't work. Yesterday I booked tickets to München, so that I can go visit my caramel 180, Candyse, before she moves back to the states for good. It feels really weird that she's leaving (and very sad), I thought she'd stay forever and start having german babies soon. That's not the case, and I have to go say my goodbye next weekend.

Me and Candyse last time I visited München. At the Hofbrauhaus, where else?!

This weekend I painted my room. The wallpaper was really ugly, so I just painted it white. Much better. An attempt was made to paint the bathroom too, because it had a terrible light yellow, citrongul as we say in sweden, color that really needed to be changed. The first paint we got unfortunately turned out to be something between baby blue and lavender, so I had to repaint it all tonight. Turned out pretty good. It is now a greenish color. Hopefully not turquoise, have to wait until tomorrow (daylight) to be sure.

Yesterday I had Julian over for dinner. Really good to see her, as always. She was supposed to join me for my yoga class later, but that didnt really work out. Too bad, the class was awsome!
Ciao!

Short update

It's suddenly a new year, and I'm still in Sweden. Not so sweet anymore tho. I'm still living with my dad, and still unemployed (that's why I'm still living here). So if anyone needs a swedish textile engineer, just give me a shout.

Even if there's not too much going on in my life, I've still done too much during fall to tell it all. I'll just do a "hösten i bilder" and you can see for your selves. Here's my last couple of months...

Traditional swedish crayfish party.

Yes I know, it looks cold. But it's really not!!
A couple of days in Stockholm with Gary.
A couple of days in Borås with Marie.
Partying in Helsingborg with Elin and Julian.

I've turned into a quite outdoorsy girl lately. Here's the forest surrounding our cabin.
For my and my sisters birthdays we made sushi.

A month in Canada with Gary. More outdoorsyness in Banff.
I've been to Malmö a couple of times...

Me being outdoorsy again, this is Kopparhatten national park. (notice the sunglasses, this indicates that the weather didnt suck for once...)

Me being indoorsy, making a Turning Torso gingerbread house.

We finally got some snow for Christmas.

Me looking for the perfect christmas tree.

Me and my sis getting slightly drunk at New years in Copenhagen.
